The stock of Rivian Automotive(NASDAQ: RIVN) is jumping again on Monday. Shares of the electric vehicle (EV) maker popped as much as 12% in early trading today to start the week. That jump kept the momentum going for Rivian shares.

The stock has soared by more than 30% since mid-April. That move came after the company introduced its next-generation lineup of midsize electric SUVs in March and after a large funding grant from the State of Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity. That grant will help Rivian save more than $2.25 billion in capital spending as it expands its Illinois factory to begin building the R2 vehicle platform it announced.

But another tailwind has investors pushing the stock higher today, too.

James Corden says he’s actually performing when hosting The Late Late Show.

The British actor and comedian has helmed CBS’s late-night show for seven years, beginning in 2015. In April 2022, he announced he was quitting the talk series in spring 2023, once he has reached 1,250 episodes.

In a new interview with NBC10 Boston’s Hub Today, Corden was asked what the pivot from acting to hosting was like for him.

“I guess I see it all as a performance, really,” the 44-year-old shared. “I see it all as a character that I’m sort of playing.”

While gesturing and speaking in his famously animated late-night tone, Corden said: “Like, it would be odd if I got home and opened the fridge and was like, ‘Look who’s here tonight! Stick around, we’ll be right back!’”

Vanessa Bryant is honoring her late daughter Gianna “Gigi” Bryant in celebration of what would’ve marked her 18th birthday.

On Saturday, May 4, Vanessa, 42, shared a post on Instagram, in which she revealed that she and her family hosted a basketball camp for girls and boys in memory of her daughter — who died alongside her father Kobe Bryant in 2020.

INDIANAPOLIS — An Indianapolis legend was honored on Friday by a senior center that meant so much to him.

Quality Life Adult Services Day Center on Post Road was re-named the Jerry Wade Center.

The late radio host for 106.7 WTLC served as a director there, where he made everyone part of his family.

He hosted dance parties and more to keep it fun while promoting health and fitness.

Jerry always said the center was home for him. He passed away suddenly in early January, but his legacy will forever live on.
