Whether it was an ethical decision and who is right in this battle—publishers, using the existing copyright law provisions to their advantage, or the IA, stating that today’s copyright law is outdated and does not meet the requirements of digital societies—remains to be answered. The IA appealed its loss in the Second Circuit Court, a decision supported by many authors themselves.

The “Share My Date” feature lets romantic hopefuls send date details along to anyone up to a month in advance. If the date plans change, the sender can update the shared details with new information. Recipients who get a link to someone’s planned date will be able to see the prospective partner’s profile. Those with Tinder accounts will be able to view the match’s entire profile, but those without can still see the match’s basic info in a web browser including their photos, first name, and age.
