Web hosting company 1-grid.com offers free online setup package to 3 local entrepreneurs who register their .co.za – Independent Online

In an effort to help drive the growth of small businesses, local web-hosting company 1-grid.com is offering a free complete online setup package to three local entrepreneurs who register a .co.za domain during Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) and the month of November.

GEW started on November 8 and ends tomorrow (Sunday).

According to the company, the business-in-a-box package includes company registration, a professional email address, domain hosting and a do-it-yourself e-commerce website builder, the cost of which will be covered for a year.

Kilgore cancels National Night Out events because of rise in COVID-19 spread | Local News

Continued high COVID-19 spread in the area has forced the cancelation of Kilgore’s National Night Out parties.

“Many of our dedicated hosts and attendees to the National Night Out parties are in the high risk category for COVID exposure,” the Kilgore Police Department said in a Facebook post. “We felt it was the best choice to not move forward in hosting the NNO parties (being we use the format where we have individual neighborhood parties at a host’s home, and not a larger community gathering).”

SFCHC hosting weekly walk-in vaccine clinics | Local News

The State Emergency Management Agency will continue to supply PPE for local events and will also continue its efforts in providing clinical and non-clinical volunteers as needed for local events. 

The state is also working with vaccinators across Missouri, including health care systems, pharmacies, local public health agencies, and other community providers, to promote more convenience-driven vaccine options for Missourians like walk-up availability and extended hours of operation. 

Data shows that 80% of Missourians have access to a COVID-19 vaccine within a five mile radius of where they reside. This is due to the vast network of local vaccine providers across the state of Missouri.

Local organizations hosting Hero WOD for Memorial Day to benefit Team RWB

Saturday, May 22 members from the Alabama National Guard and Fitness 205 (formerly CrossFit 205) are hosting a hero WOD (workout of the day) to benefit Team RWB, an organization dedicated to reintegrating military veterans back into civilian life.
