Disney and Warner Bros. Discovery are already teaming up for a sports streaming joint venture, now the two companies have announced that they will be working together on a streaming bundle of Disney Plus, Hulu and Max for the US that is coming this summer. 

The new bundle doesn’t yet have a price or an exact release date. The companies say that it will be available to purchase on any of the three streaming platforms’ respective websites and users can choose from ad-supported or ad-free options.

When bundled together the companies tout that users will be able to access content from a host of brands including “ABC, CNN, DC, Discovery, Disney, Food Network, FX, HBO, HGTV, Hulu, Marvel, Pixar, Searchlight and Warner Bros.”

Max subscribers won’t have to shell out an extra $10 to watch live March Madness games on the B/R Sports tier, as Warner Bros. Discovery is delaying charging customers for the add-on option. On Friday, the media giant shared that it’s working on some technical upgrades in the app, so fans can continue to enjoy live sports for free into the spring.

Max introduced live sports programming through its newly-added Bleacher Report (B/R) Sports this past October, granting viewers access to MLB, US Soccer, NHL, NBA and more. During its rollout, Warner Bros. Discovery announced that the streaming service’s add-on would be available to all subscribers at no extra cost through Feb. 29. Apple launched its iPhone 15 series comprising iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Plus and iPhone 15 Pro Max last week.

It is available for pre-order and will go on sale in India on September 22.

However, deliveries may be delayed due to high demand for the top model, says Apple analyst Ming Chi Kuo.

Huge demand for iPhone 15 Pro Max 

In India, on Apple’s website it states that an order for iPhone 15 Pro Max placed on September 17 would be delivered between November 3 and November 9.

Delivery times also vary based on the color.

The iPhone 15 Pro Max, in particular, is enjoying high demand from markets such as China, Japan and the United States.

HBO Max is an online video streaming service, developed by American television network HBO.

Launched in the US in 2020, the platform is best known for its original programming, which runs the gamut from comedy to prestige drama.

The platform merged with non-fiction streaming service Discovery+ in May 2023, subsequently changing its name to ‘Max’.

Although Max has been rolled out in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Andorra and Spain, it’s yet to be introduced to the UK.

However, UK residents can still watch some of the platform’s flagship shows elsewhere, or gain access to the full Max catalogue using a virtual private network (VPN).
