PERRYVILLE, Mo. (KFVS) – Missouri’s National Veterans Memorial (MNVM) in Perryville is set to host a day dedicated to Vietnam veterans.

Organizers are inviting the public to welcome home Vietnam veterans during the National Vietnam War Veterans Day event at the memorial.

The event will take place on Friday, March 29 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Refreshments will be served in the event room.

Visitors can view the history of the Vietnam War through exhibits at the museum and remember the 58,281 men and women who never came home by reading their names on the memorial’s Vietnam Wall.

MNVM volunteers, who are Vietnam veterans will be available on the campus to answer questions and to share their time in the service.

Tokens of remembrance to lay at the Vietnam Wall are welcome.

GWINN, Mich. (WLUC) – The K.I. Sawyer Heritage Air Museum hosted a dedication of a new memorial.

The memorial is dedicated to all those that served honorably and returned.

The dedication included speakers from both the American Legion and VFW. Following the speeches, each service flag was raised by a former or current member of that service. The Space Force flag was raised by two Civil Air Patrol Cadets.

Richard Verwey, K.I. Sawyer Heritage Air Museum president, said it was time to honor all those who served.

The company that owns the sole salvaging rights to the historic Titanic shipwreck is hosting a memorial service for its former employee and late Titan passenger Paul-Henri “PH” Nargeolet — a day after debuting its latest Titanic expo in Paris.

RMS Titanic Inc., which was granted exclusive rights to recover the artifacts from the Titanic wreck site, shared on social media that it’s set to host an event to honor Nargeolet on Wednesday from 1:30 to 2:30 EST.

The Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital will be hosting another fireside chat.

Several topics are on the agenda, including hospital growth, physician recruitment and community partnerships.

OSMH President and CEO Carmine Stumpo, Board Chair Ligaya Byrch and Chief of Staff, Dr. Lindsay Alston, will also be answering questions.
