Lee Juggurnauth, the presenter from Channel 4’s ‘A Place in the Sun,’ took to his Instagram account urging an end to the race riots in the UK and called for unity and support amidst growing racial tensions.

In sharing his concern, the ‘A Place in the Sun’ presenter disclosed he’s been the target of vile online abuse. He confided that racism is an ongoing struggle he and others face regularly.

The 36-year-old telly host shared: “After receiving several comments and messages telling me to ‘Pipe Down’ and ‘Go back to where I came from’, I feel I have a responsibility to speak up. If it means using the small platform that I have to raise awareness, then that’s what I’m going to do. Believe it or not, racism isn’t a new construct for people of colour in the UK.”

BBC Morning Live host Helen Skelton has shared a heartwarming message to Michelle Ackerley after her return to work. The beloved breakfast show, which has Gethin Jones, Helen, and Michelle at the helm, airs on weekdays from 9.30am to 10.45am.

Michelle has been off the screen for over a month, however, to tie the knot and enjoy her honeymoon. Besides Morning Live, she is also known for hosting The World’s Strongest Man and Crimewatch Live.

Michelle got hitched to her fiance Ben Ryan last month, and her last appearance on Morning Live was on Thursday, May 16, before she made her comeback on Wednesday, 26 June. Eternal Applications’ new app allows dead people to message loved ones

Psychic mediums performing séances are what people normally visualize when they think about receiving messages from the dead, but in 2024, all they need is their cell phone or computer.

Eternal Applications, a web hosting company based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, launched an “after-life messaging platform” on Thursday that allows people to create personalized messages that will be delivered to family and friends after they die. 

People will be able to use “easy-to-use-text, video and audio tools” to record and send messages, Eternal Applications said in a news release.

The company aims to provide “peace of mind to users” who want their legacy, wisdom or life stories shared and remembered, according to the release.
