Humboldt Museum hosting reconciliation events in September

Sept. 19, the Relationship Building and Reconciliation through Living Heritage Pilot Project is planning a conversation to discuss the project and how to promote reconciliation in Humboldt.

HUMBOLDT – The Relationship Building and Reconciliation through Living Heritage Pilot Project in Humboldt has held over 17 events with over 800 participants to educate others about having a better understanding of reconciliation.

The Met to host first major museum exhibition dedicated to architect Paul Rudolph

The Metropolitan Museum of Art will host the first-ever major museum exhibition dedicated to the works of influential architect Paul Rudolph. Running from September 30 through March 16, 2025, “Materialized Space: The Architecture of Paul Rudolph” examines the career and legacy of the Modernist architect and how his contributions to architecture continue to inspire innovative designs in cities across the globe. The exhibition will feature over 80 works, ranging from small objects he collected throughout his life to drawings, models, furniture, material samples, and photographs.

A museum dedicated to Novak Djokovic is set to be built in Serbia

After Novak Djokovic’s thrilling gold medal win at the Olympics in Paris, Serbia plans to construct a museum honouring the great tennis player.

“We had the first discussions about the construction of the Novak Djokovic museum, which is expected to become another attraction for the city,” Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said Tuesday, August 13.

Djokovic has long enjoyed the status of a living legend in Serbia, where the Belgrade native and winner of 24 Grand Slam titles ran a tennis academy for years and frequently attends sporting events and meets with officials.

Havana important museum hosts exhibition dedicated to Fidel Castro

HAVANA, Cuba, Aug 9 (ACN) An exhibition with 23 photographs of Fidel Castro, as seen by his son Alex, was opened to the public today at the museum of the San Carlos de la Cabaña Fortress, in Havana, and reflects the last years of the Commander-in-Chief’s life.

Historical museum to host exhibition dedicated to religious monuments of Silk Road

AKIPRESS.COM – The National Historical Museum will host a presentation dedicated to religious monuments of the Silk Road in Kyrgyzstan, related to the transfer of the 8th century Buddha statue, on June 8.

Archaeologists from the Hermitage and the Institute of History and Cultural Heritage of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic carried out excavations at three sites of Navekat ancient city in Chui region in 2011, the museum reported. Excavations were carried out near the fortress wall of the central ruins, in a city necropolis and a Buddhist temple.
