The Brooklyn Seltzer Museum, which is in the Cypress Hills neighborhood near the border of Brooklyn and Queens, celebrates the long-lasting cultural importance of seltzer in New York City.

Located within the oldest seltzer works in New York City (a family run business now in its fourth generation), the Brooklyn Seltzer Museum celebrates the production of seltzer, the science of seltzer, its cultural importance, and the value of local, family-run businesses.

Krakow Museum hosting exhibition dedicated to Georgia’s culture, history

The National Museum in Krakow is hosting a “large-scale” exhibition dedicated to Georgian culture and history titled Golden Fleece – Art of Georgia, the country’s Ministry of Culture said on Friday.

On display until September 15, the exhibition will allow European audiences to get acquainted with the “rich culture of Georgia, masterpieces of Georgian art, outstanding examples of martial arts, and works of the best representatives of Georgian modernism”, the Ministry said.

The body added many Georgian artefacts were preserved in various Polish museums that were exhibited for the first time at this exposition, organised with the support of the Georgian Ministry and the Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.

Museum of Modern Art hosts largest-ever retrospective honoring late film composer Ennio Morricone

New York, N.Y. — If you’re heading to New York City during the holiday season, you won’t want to miss a unique month-long event at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.

MoMA will be hosting a retrospective dedicated to the Italian film composer Ennio Morricone, who passed away in 2020. The Oscar-winning composer collaborated with directors from all over the world, including Quentin Tarantino, John Carpenter, Brian DePalma, and Bernardo Bertolucci.

The films in the lineup span his nearly 60-year career and will feature more than 35 works with seven new digital restorations and 35mm archival prints.
