Wheel of Fortune's Pat Sajak shares final 'goodbye' without naming Ryan Seacrest – MSN

Ahead of Wheel of Fortune‘s new season, Pat Sajak has officially signed off.

The hit game show’s longtime host shared one last goodbye to fans as he prepares to officially pass hosting duties to Ryan Seacrest, but he didn’t mention the American Idol host in his statement.

Seacrest will officially join Vanna White as co-host when the latest season premieres on September 9, but he has to hit the ground running to keep fans interested.

The statement read: “This is the last night of summer reruns, although having cable and streaming services means never having to say goodbye. Looking forward to Season 5 of @celebritywof on @ABCNetwork this fall, as well as what’s coming next.”
