Throughout the summer, the Summerland Museum & Archives Society shared that they will be hosting different special pop-up museums.

The one-off exhibits will explore the fascinating history of each area while offering attendees the opportunity to enjoy a tasting while listening.

For the first time in its 800-year history, Kingston’s Ancient Market Place is set to host an exciting pop-up market dedicated entirely to dogs (and their owners).

Kingston’s first Dog Day, which takes place on Saturday, 8 July in Kingston’s Ancient Market Place from 10am, will bring together a range of independent pet businesses in the town centre and will see a number of local businesses offer dog-themed promotions and attractions.

The event is part of a packed programme of weekend special markets and events taking place there throughout the summer. 

Visitors to Dog Day will have a chance to peruse and purchase an array of novel treats, toys, accessories, and experiences for their four-legged friends.

NHS junior doctor jailed for running dark web site hosting child sex abuse images – South London News

A NHS junior doctor has been jailed for his role in running a dark web chat site that hosted indecent images of children.

Kabir Garg, 33, of Station Road, Lewisham, held an account on a dark website which allows users to share links to indecent images of children and provides message boards to discuss them.

“Moderators” of the site actively encourage users to interact, rewarding them with additional access and benefits.

Today, at Woolwich Crown Court, Garg was jailed for six years.

Between May 2021 and November 2022, Garg, who worked as a psychiatrist for the South London and Maudsley NHS Trust, facilitated the sexual exploitation of children by acting as a moderator of the site.

Patricia Louise (Roberson) DeVore, 87, of Knoxville, Tenn., formerly of Patterson Creek, W.Va., passed away, on Saturday, June 17, 2023.
Born April 16, 1936, in Cumberland, Patricia was the daughter of the late Earl James Roberson and Edna May (Martin) Roberson. She was preceded in death, by her husband, Russell Foster DeVore, Jr.; her sister, Barbara Lee (Roberson) James; and her daughter, Devra Louise (DeVore) Logan.
Patricia is survived by her son, Russell Foster DeVore, III, (Candice), of Knoxville; her daughter, Debra Patricia (Patti) DeVore, of Knoxville; nine grandchildren, Lori Yoder Dudiak (J.
