A sequel to the 2003 comedy Freaky Friday, which starred Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan as a mother and daughter who swap bodies, is officially in the works, with Curtis and Lohan both in talks to return. Disney confirmed the news to the New York Times for a piece tied to the 20th anniversary of the film, and Elyse Hollander is writing the script. Gary R. Wieneke Track Officially Dedicated

CHAMPAIGN, Ill.- The home of the Fighting Illini track and field team was officially dedicated as the Gary R. Wieneke Track this morning at Demirjian Park. Joining Coach Wieneke and his wife, Peggy in the celebration were a large group of extended family, former athletes, current student athletes and DIA staff. The dedication featured comments from University Chancellor Robert Jones, Director of Athletics Josh Whitman and Coach Mike Turk joined by current Illini Olivia Howell and Jonathan Wells to honor the legendary coach. Lupton Stadium officially a (potential) host site for College Baseball playoffs

Due to the ongoing (though much improving!) COVID-19 pandemic, the NCAA is continuing to make alterations to their normal schedule through the end of the 2020-2021 athletics year. For College Baseball, this means that there will be 16 dedicated host sites chosen for the regional postseason round out of 20 potential nominees.

On that list, to the surprise on nobody, is the beautiful ballpark that TCU Baseball calls home, Lupton Stadium in Fort Worth. The Horned Frogs, a top ten team and in first place in the Big 12 conference, have few, if any, remaining obstacles to hosting the first round of postseason play at home in front of what the governing body of NCAA Athletics has deemed will be a maximum crowd of 50% of capactiy.
