The Paris 2024 Olympics were an amazing spectacle, as athletes from all over the globe competed at the highest level watched by the entire world.

The opening ceremony alone was watched by three billion viewers globally – but this wasn’t just a win for sports or the medalists, but for digital infrastructure and connectivity, too.

Goodwill of Orange County is hosting a one-day donation event from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28 in Irvine.

The donation event is part of the organization’s 100th anniversary this year, Goodwill will be taking gently used items at its Westpark Plaza collecting site. Proceeds raised from sales support the nonprofit’s career connection and training programs across the county.

Residents from Irvine and all of OC are welcome to donate clothing, home décor and toys. Folks who get there early might even get some Goodwill OC swag.
