A video being shared widely online falsely claims to show the new King of Denmark waving a Palestinian flag in support of a demonstration in Copenhagen.

In the clip, which is circulating on Facebook and X (formerly Twitter), a man on a balcony can be seen holding the Palestinian flag and waving, while pro-Palestine protesters gather in the street.    

A caption on Facebook also widely shared alongside the video says: “The King of Denmark, King Frederik X, waves the Palestinian flag from a balcony as he greets hundreds of protesters demonstrating in Copenhagen in solidarity with the people of Palestine.”

However, the man pictured in the footage is not the Danish monarch, and the video was actually filmed in Malmö, Sweden.

A video is being shared online with the implication that it shows “Rafah actors” preparing to pretend to be dead or injured in Gaza. This comes amidst reports Israel appears to be set to launch a large-scale assault on the city in the south of Gaza.

In the clip, which is circulating on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube, and shared over 4,000 times on X (formerly Twitter), a man lies on a stretcher while a woman applies makeup to his chest and neck, and another man sits in what appears to be a body bag—while smoking a cigarette. 

Text overlaid on the video says “Make-up Gaza Style” and has a watermark of an account which shares what it claims are “Pallywood” videos—a portmanteau of Palestine and Bollywood.

A video on TikTok with 3.7 million views claims to show a video of the singer Adele holding the Palestinian flag while singing the song ‘When We Were Young’. Similar posts have been shared on Facebook, Instagram and X (formerly Twitter).

In a longer video clip of the same part of the gig, where she walks amongst the audience and is handed items by some of them, it’s clear that she’s actually holding the flag of Mexico. Although it includes patches of green, white and red, like the Palestinian flag, the coat of arms of the Mexican flag can clearly be seen 48 seconds in when she hands it to someone.
