Pictures claiming to show the aftermath of the helicopter crash that killed the president of Iran has been widely shared online. 

Iran’s president Ebrahim Raisi was killed in a helicopter crash in a mountainous region of north-west Iran, alongside foreign minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, on Sunday 19 May.

The pictures being shared online show what appears to be the wreckage of an aircraft across a hillside. A number of people can be seen gathered around the debris, including a man looking at the camera wearing a face mask and a red and white jacket.

They also show other people wearing the same distinctive uniform, and what appears to be part of a plane marked with the number 1136 and the Iranian flag. 

But these pictures aren’t from Sunday’s crash in north-west…

As Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor made their way to Kunal Kapoor’s house for their annual Christmas brunch, the duo finally showed their daughter Raha’s entire face after months of anticipation. As photographers took pictures, the power couple proudly posed with their little daughter.

While the shutter bugs were taking her picture, Raha gazed them curiously. She wore wine-colored shoes to add even more sweetness to her lovely Christmas-themed outfit.

Alia was by Ranbir’s side as he held his 13-month-old daughter in his arms.

Along with thanking the media for their well wishes, Raha made her paparazzi debut with the couple.

Posts falsely claiming that billionaire Elon Musk plans to release “robot wives” for sale later this year have been shared thousands of times on Facebook. 

The posts, which have also been shared on Twitter, claim that a company owned by Mr Musk intends to release the human-like robots in September 2023. They feature a number of pictures which appear to show the billionaire kissing and dancing with different “robot wives”.
