Tinder is adding a new option for users to share their scheduled dates’ details with family and friends through the app with a link that expires after a limited time, the dating app announced Monday.
The “Share My Date” feature lets romantic hopefuls send date details along to anyone up to a month in advance. If the date plans change, the sender can update the shared details with new information. Recipients who get a link to someone’s planned date will be able to see the prospective partner’s profile. Those with Tinder accounts will be able to view the match’s entire profile, but those without can still see the match’s basic info in a web browser including their photos, first name, and age.
