Stan Grant, the award-winning Indigenous host of the ABC’s Q+A, is stepping down, citing exhaustion from the torrent of racist abuse to which he has been subjected on social media, especially in the wake of his contribution to the public broadcaster’s coverage of the coronation of King Charles III.

“Racism is a crime. Racism is violence. And I have had enough,” Grant writes in a lengthy piece published Friday on ABC websites, explaining his decision to quit the flagship show.

RYLAN Clark has dramatically quit Strictly: It Takes Two after four years and shared an emotional goodbye with fans.

The 34-year-old presenter took to his Instagram account to confirm the news today, alongside a caption which read: “Been a pleasure @bbcstrictly” and a love heart emoji.

Since the early 2000s, Tyra Banks has honed her hosting skills. The model and businesswoman hosted”America’s Next Top Model” and “America’s Got Talent.” In 2020, she was announced as the new host of “Dancing With the Stars.” Banks’ contract was renewed after the network dropped Tom Bergeron.

Bergeron hosted the show for fifteen years. He replaced Erin Andrews, who was on the show for six years. The ABC studios felt it was time to say goodbye to their longtime host especially since they experienced poor ratings.
