Ben Shephard flooded with support as he shared heartbreak over tragic ITV death | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV

This Morning‘s Ben Shephard, the host of Tipping Point, has shared his sadness over the passing of a guest on the show before tonight’s episode. The 47 year old presenter paid tribute to the contestant, Rav, on Twitter, sharing the news with his followers.

He posted a picture of himself and Rav in the studio, writing: “Since we recorded today’s Tipping Point, Rav’s family have shared the sad news of his passing.

“I loved playing alongside him, and along with all the Tipping Point team we are sending his family and friends all our love.”

Ben added that he enjoyed playing alongside Rav and sent love from the entire Tipping Point team to his family and friends. Fans quickly responded, expressing their condolences.

Popular Dayton restaurant hosting 8th annual Oyster Fest – WHIO TV 7 and WHIO Radio

DAYTON — A popular Dayton restaurant is launching its 8th annual Oyster Fest this week.

Lily’s Dayton, located in the Oregon District, is hosting Oyster Fest from Wednesday, Jan. 24 through Sunday, Feb. 4.

The promotion will feature raw and cooked special oyster preparations alongside the restaurant’s full tropical-inspired dinner and cocktail menu.

The restaurant said the specials will be served nightly at dinner service only.

The menu will include oysters on the half shell, oyster shooters, oysters “cochon-feller,” fried oyster oreganata, shrimp and oyster gumbo, fried oyster po-boys, and more.

Radio host shot dead live on air in the Philippines

A radio host was killed while broadcasting live in the Philippines on Sunday, and the murder was also livestreamed on Facebook.

Juan Jumalon, 57, was hosting a morning show on Gold FM 94.7 from his home in Calamba, about 30 miles south of Manila.

The gunmen entered the home/radio station by telling someone inside they had “something important” to announce on air, police sources told the Filipino outlet Cebu Daily News.

Cops said one man then walked into Jumalon’s broadcasting booth, while another stood guard. Juamlon’s show was being simulcast on the station’s Facebook page. The gruesome video shows Jumalon looking toward something off-camera, then two gunshots are heard and Jumalon slumps, bloodied, in his chair.

Jumalon was rushed to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead…
