“Trump never pays his bills”: Truth Social reportedly stiffs contractor amid financial “disarray”

Former President Donald Trump’s Twitter knockoff Truth Social stiffed a contractor in the latest sign of financial “disarray” at the troubled social network, according to Fox Business.

Truth Social, which is headed by former Rep. Devin Nunes, R-Calif., is in a “bitter battle” with RightForge, the network’s web host and one of its largest vendors, over $1.6 million in unpaid bills, according to the report.

The company entered into an agreement with Truth Social in October. Sources told Fox Business that Truth Social made just three payments and hasn’t paid anything since March. The company is now threatening legal action unless it is paid, according to the report.

Entities using the name and iconography of Anonymous (EUTNAIOA) claim to have leaked server disk images extracted from Epik – the controversial US outfit that has provided services to far-right orgs such as the Oath Keepers and Gab, provided a home to social-network-for-internet-outcasts Parler, and hosted hate-hole 8chan.

Epik made a virtue of providing such services. In a blog post defending its decision to operate Gab’s domain name after GoDaddy declined to do so, Epik CEO Rob Monster argued it was a free speech issue, and said deplatforming companies is both censorship and a violation of inalienable rights.

Parler, the conservative social media alternative platform, has reportedly found a new web host after being dumped by Amazon’s service over the weekend.

After being removed from the Apple App Store and Google Play — the two most widely used smartphone marketplaces — and being removed as a client from Amazon’s web hosting service, Parler has reportedly found refuge with Epik, an internet web hosting company known for partnering with right-leaning sites.
