Area organizations dedicated to equality host leading jurist on equal justice efforts in New York – Saratogian

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. — Hon. Edwina G. Richardson-Mendelson, a leader of the New York State Unified Court System and the state’s Equal Justice in Courts Initiative, will address the public at 5 p.m. on Wednedsday, Oct. 18 at The Saratoga Hilton.

The event, presented by MLK Saratoga, the Saratoga Immigration Coalition, Mary A. Carter Temple #362 and When People Work, is free and is a presentation on the status of equal justice in the state.

Throughout her long career in public service, Mendelson has worked to afford all New Yorkers equal access to justice. Wesley Foundation to host annual ‘Share A Step’ Virtual Fundraiser – Saratogian

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. —  The Wesley Foundation will be holding its sixth-annual “Share A Step” virtual fundraiser on Friday, Sept. 22 through Thursday, Sept. 28. The weeklong fitness initiative offers participants the opportunity to raise funds for The Wesley Community’s Life Enrichment Program, which provides ongoing, meaningful social and therapeutic activities tailored to each Wesley resident.
