Abbotsford author Grace Fox hosting book signing on Sept. 20

Abbotsford author Grace Fox has announced a book signing celebrating the release of her latest – Names of God: Living Unafraid.

The event occurs at House of James bookstore (2743 Emerson St.) on from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 20.

Fox has now penned 14 books and stated that she wants to invite the community to join her for a special evening filled with stories, live music, book signing and refreshments.

“Names of God: Living Unafraid is a devotional study that examines seven of God’s Hebrew names and how they relate to our lives today,” she said in a press release. “God has shown us what he’s like through these names. In a world that’s scary, understanding who he is helps us live unafraid.”

Beaver Valley Destination Stewardship is hosting an Aki Guardians Walk and Talk at Kolapore Wilderness Trails on Sept. 8 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Linkin Park Hosting Exclusive Event on Sept. 5

Linkin Park has something in store for fans on September 5 after faking them out with a countdown clock stunt.

Fans over on the Linkin Park Reddit shared screenshots of an email announcing an event in Los Angeles on September 5. The mysterious event will be between 12:30 PM and 5:30 PM. Tickets for the in-person event are limited, and no +1s are allowed. The location for the event is currently unknown, as is the premise of the event itself.
