Ryan Tubridy fans in overdrive as he starts ‘new series’ and is pictured with Piers Morgan

Fans of Ryan Tubridy have been sent into overdrive as the former RTE presenter started a ‘new series’ on Instagram.

Tubridy, who will not return to RTE after the recent payments scandal, has taken to social media with a new endeavour and it’s already going down well with fans.

The former Late Late and RTE Radio 1 host has always been a noted lover of books and often gave recommendations on his much-loved morning radio show. 

He has turned that love into a new series of videos on his Instagram account where he gives book recommendations by genre.

WATCH: Trailer for season two of popular RTÉ series filmed in Clare town

RTÉ HAS dropped the official trailer for season two of the crime series Hidden Assets, which was filmed partially in Clare.

Set to return to our screens this September 3, the six-part series has been given a prime-time slot in the RTÉ Guide for viewers.

The Belgian/Irish production was created by Kin and Red Rock creator, Peter McKenna, and had scenes filmed in Shannon.

Ennis actress, Simone Kirby, stars in the drama alongside Angeline Ball, best known for playing Imelda in The Commitments and Peter Coonan noted for his role as Fran in Love/Hate.

Hidden Assets first aired on November 7, 2021 on RTÉ ONE, with nearly half a million viewers tuning in to watch the highly anticipated season one finale.

Destiny 2 Dev Says It Has ‘No Intention’ To Abandon The Series Regardless Of How Well Marathon Performs

Destiny 2 fans have been concerned that developer Bungie may turn its back on the shared-world shooter franchise in wake of its plans to revive the Marathon series, but the studio has said this won’t be the case regardless of how it performs.

Concerns were raised among fans not only over fears it Marathon would affect development of Destiny 2, but also because the new game supports dedicated servers — something which Destiny fans have been after for some time now. However, Bungie was quick to quell worries by responding to a thread on Reddit:

We have no intention of abandoning Destiny; like most studios that support multi-IPs at the same time, we intend to do the same as them.
