Christmas is a favorite holiday around the Napier house, so HGTV asked Erin and Ben for a few quick holiday hosting tips.

HGTV said, “The first words out of Ben’s mouth after we asked the Napiers to name their best holiday tips: ‘Potluck.’ The Napiers don’t do fancy sit-down dinners for the holidays.”

“It’s always buffet style…everybody gets a plate,” Erin said.

The HOME TOWN stars do have suggestions for those who want to make it a little fancier: make place settings.

Now you can share Instagram Reels and Posts exclusively with your close friends

Instagram has added support for the Close Friends list to Reels and Posts, allowing users to share their content with a limited audience. “Sharing with your Close Friends is now expanding to Feed and Reels. More types of posts with the same smaller group,” Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg said on his Instagram broadcast channel.

Close Friends list isn’t a new feature, and it’s already available for Stories and Notes. The feature originally launched in 2018 lets users have privacy on the platform and gives them control over the visibility of the content they share on a post-by-post basis.

Hundreds of Facebook users share fake Argos giveaway

Several Facebook posts shared in local community groups are falsely promoting an Argos giveaway that is not real. 

The posts, which have identical text, claim: “Argos is giving Gifts of smartphones, laptops other miscellaneous things at no charge mailed straight to your doorstep [sic]”. It says people can arrange the delivery by completing a “short 20 second form on the next page”.

A spokesperson for Argos confirmed to Full Fact that the offer is not genuine. 

One post appearing in a community group for Liverpool has almost 300 shares, while another post in a group for Mayobridge in Northern Ireland has more than 220 shares. It also appears in groups for Knock Shrine in Ireland, Worthing and Lancing in West Sussex and Milton Keynes in Buckinghamshire, as well…
