The UFC is set to break new ground in the combat sports world by hosting an event at The Sphere in Las Vegas, Nevada, in 2024.

Earlier this year, the promotion’s CEO, Dana White, had hinted at the possibility of a future UFC fight card taking place at the wonderous arena in Sin City, and now there is a date for the event.

Japan’s NTT Group, one of the top tier providers of technology and business solutions globally with revenues topping $108 billion, has been going through its motions in India.

Three years ago, it said it is merging three business entities under Sharad Sanghi, founder of Netmagic, a VC-backed data centre company it acquired a decade ago. The group roped in former IBM executive Avinash Joshi as CEO of its India business early last year. Joshi was reporting to Sanghi, who remained the managing director of the operations. Sanghi was recently redesignated as chairman relinquishing his role as MD of the firm.

Tom Bergeron revealed his replacement on  “Dancing with the Stars” could have been someone besides Tyra Banks.

Bergeron exited the ABC celebrity ballroom competition in 2020 after 28 seasons and was replaced with Banks, but the “America’s Next Top Model” alum wasn’t necessarily a shoo-in for the job.

While speaking on Cheryl Burke’s “Sex, Lies, and Spray Tans” podcast in October 2023, Bergeron shared that the most controversial winner in “Dancing with the Stars” history may have been under consideration for the role he vacated.

A video clip circulating on social media which some claim shows a “massive” pro-Palestinian protest taking place in France actually depicts a sporting event in Brazil. 

The clip, which has been shared multiple times on Facebook and also appears on X (formerly Twitter), is accompanied by posts suggesting that it shows a large protest taking place in France “in support of Palestine” despite the country having banned such events. 

Although it is true that France has banned pro-Palestinian protests on the grounds that they might lead to public disorder, the video attached to the post was not filmed in in that country.
