‘Jerry Springer Show’ Clips Flood Social Media After Talk Show Host’s Death

Jerry Springer died peacefully at his home in suburban Chicago aged 79 on Thursday, a representative for Springer at WME agency told Newsweek.

After news of the talk show host’s death surfaced, clips from Jerry Springer flooded social media with people recalling fond memories of Springer’s show and paying tribute to its well-known host.

Springer hosted the eponymous show for 28 seasons from September 1991 to July 2018. The show was often ripe with family drama, confrontation, controversial topics, screaming matches, and physical altercations between guests while on set. Springer dabbled in politics before hosting the show—serving on Cincinnati’s city council and then becoming the city’s mayor in 1977.

Viewers of the show recalled its hilarity in their tributes to Springer on Twitter.

Mark Consuelos Keeps His Chin Up After First Show As Kelly Ripa’s Co-Host Falls Flat

Mark Consuelos is not going to let a few negative comments ruin his first day on “Live with Kelly and Mark.” After his debut, he told Us Weekly, “This show today truly felt like home. I always feel at home with Kelly but [working] together this morning just felt so right.” Consuelos shared that he and Ripa always felt at ease when together, adding, “I can’t wait to see where we can go from here.” His former “All My Children” co-star had only praises for Consuelos. “Mark did amazing! Better than I even thought. I look forward to a long TV partnership with him. He’s a natural and I have a good feeling this is going to be great for a while.”

Basketmouth doesn’t like hosting my guests on his show — AY

Comedian Ayodeji Richard Makun, popularly known as AY Makun, has shed more light on his feud with his colleague, Basketmouth.

It be recalled AY had in an interview with Chude Jideonwo, a media personality, claimed that Basketmouth, in 2006 usually had multiple wedding gigs on Saturdays.

“So what he used to do then was to attend one, and at a point, leave the venue to catch up in the other venue,” he said.

AY narrated that one of the gigs that he got Basketmouth’s endorsement to stand in at that time was N30,000 and that 30k was worth everything to him at that time.

He explained that 2 weeks later he did not receive his 30k and he was starving.

He decided to ask for his 30k, but he was told that the person has not said — a claim Basketmouth has since denied.

Pete Davidson is returning to ‘SNL’ to host the show for the 1st time ever

Pete Davidson is returning to “Saturday Night Live.”

In a tweet April 15, “SNL” shared the news that Davidson will serve as host on May 6, making it his first time as host of the late-night sketch comedy series. The “SNL” alum will be joined by Lil Uzi Vert, who will be that week’s musical guest.

Davidson was a cast member on the show for eight seasons until he announced he was leaving in May 2022.

Since leaving the show, Davidson has been focusing more on his acting career. He appeared in Machine Gun Kelly’s movie, “Good Mourning,” and acted alongside Kaley Cuoco in their film, “Meet Cute.”
