Site unreachable but not from everywhere

Hello WHT, I have a weird problem that I hope someone here can help me to if not solve at least understand.

Starting Friday afternoon I have been unable to reach a couple of my sites; every time I try, the page never loads and instead I always get the “Safari can’t open the page because server stopped responding” — or Chrome’s “ ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT” error screen; after opening a ticket with my host, though, I found out the sites are up as they both load normally when I check them from my mobile connection or using a vpn (the built-in basic one some browsers offer).

Tehran’s sole UNESCO site hosts photo exhibit dedicated to Iranian capital

TEHRAN—A collection of old and recent photos of the Iranian capital has been put on show at the UNESCO-designated Golestan Palace in downtown Tehran.

The three-day exhibition opened on Sunday at Shams-ol-Emareh (“Edifice of the Sun”), a 19th-century architectural masterpiece located within Tehran’s sole World Heritage site.

Organized to mark Tehran Week which, comes to an end on October 12, the event features a selection of 40 works taken by 20 photographers, CHTN reported.

Golestan Palace was once the official residence of the Qajar monarchs who ruled the country between 1789 and 1925. The lavishly decorated property displays a remarkable mixture of ancient Persian and contemporary European architectural styles, which characterized much of Iranian art in the 19th and 20th…

Drone over Clonmel crash site ‘disrespectful’ to families and emergency workers

A senior garda has criticised the use of a drone over the fatal crash site as “disrespectful” to both the grieving families and emergency personnel.

Three Leaving Cert students, Zoey Coffey, 18, Nicole Murphy, 18 and Grace McSweeney, 18, as well as Grace’s 24-year-old brother Luke, died in Clonmel in Co Tipperary.

Gardai said that images of the immediate aftermath of the collision were being shared on social media and messaging apps, and urged people not to do so out of respect for the young people and their families.
