Danish King didn’t wave Palestinian flag in street protest

A video being shared widely online falsely claims to show the new King of Denmark waving a Palestinian flag in support of a demonstration in Copenhagen.

In the clip, which is circulating on Facebook and X (formerly Twitter), a man on a balcony can be seen holding the Palestinian flag and waving, while pro-Palestine protesters gather in the street.

To Barrack Street, where this popular pub is hosting a cute Christmas Market

Christmas is about a lot of things but one of our hands-down favourite part is going for pints after a spell of shopping in the markets.

Thankfully, Tom Barry’s has had the foresight to put both these things in one place, making for a rather good festive afternoon out on Sunday, December 10th.

This Christmas the popular Barrack Street pub will host another of their wonderful Christmas markets, giving Leesiders the chance to buy local products and pieces from vendors over hot mulled cider and wine.

“All proceeds go to charity, supporting the incredible work of Trocaire,” said the pub crew on Instagram as they gear up for the holiday season. “Let’s spread the holiday joy and give back to charity while we’re at it!”

Vendors who will be setting up in the garden on the day…
