WASHINGTON — President Joe Biden welcomed the Kansas City Chiefs to the White House on Friday, lauding the back-to-back Super Bowl champion team for its sportsmanship on and off the field, and breaking an unofficial political rule about headwear. He tried on a Chiefs helmet the team gave him as a gift.

“It was cool to see him put the helmet on,” quarterback Patrick Mahomes told reporters after the celebration on the South Lawn. “We didn’t expect that.”

Cal State San Bernardino baseball team hosting Division II regional at Fiscalini Field – San Bernardino Sun

The Cal State San Bernardino baseball team’s record-breaking season rolls on with another first this weekend when the Coyotes host one of two NCAA Division II West Regional tournaments.

Beginning Thursday at Fiscalini Field in San Bernardino, CSUSB will welcome Azusa Pacific and Western Oregon in for a three-team tournament. The winner advances to the NCAA Division II Super Regionals next weekend.

“It’s a huge opportunity for us and it’s something the school hasn’t done in, I don’t think, forever,” Coyotes head coach Mike Nadeau said.

The Coyotes (38-17 overall) set a program record to wins this season, were both chosen as a tournament participant and Fiscalini Field selected as regional host site for the first time, it was announced on Sunday.

SUN PRAIRIE, Wis. (WMTV) -Think tennis, but smaller. Then add in a a hint of badminton and table tennis, and you’ve got pickleball. It’s a sport that has grown widely popular across the country and Tuesday, Sun Prairie’s Wyndham Hills Park pickleball courts are getting their day in the sun.

Sun Prairie was recently selected as the state of Wisconsin ‘spot’ in one pilot’s quest to set a world record being referred to as the ‘48-48-48 Challenge’. Dean Matt is attempting to complete 48 pickleball matches in 48 states in less than 48 days. Sun Prairie is stop 26 on the tour.
