Telegram has unveiled its latest effort to take on other industry giants, such as WhatsApp, Messenger and Apple, by introducing new business-focused features.

Available now, Telegram Business offers a range of tools, including customizable start pages, business hour settings, automated greeting and away messages, and AI chatbot integration. 

National Disability Employee Awareness Month is in October — and Long Beach plans to honor that by hosting its first job fair for people with disabilities.

The city has partnered with the Disabled Resources Center, Mental Health America of Los Angeles, the California Department of Rehabilitation and Pacific Gateway Network to put on the job fair, which will take place from 2 to 5 p.m. Oct. 3 at the Civic Center Plaza and City Hall Lobby.

Long Beach is home to nearly 50,000 residents with disabilities, according to the city’s press release. A third of those people are unemployed and continue to face barriers of preconceived notions obstructing many employment opportunities, the city said. The Hyderabad police have achieved a major breakthrough by arresting nine individuals allegedly involved in a massive investment fraud worth a staggering Rs 712 crore. 

The scam has been reportedly  masterminded by Chinese citizens operating from Dubai, targeting victims through enticing online part-time job offers on the popular messaging app, Telegram.

Hyderabad Citizen Scammed of Rs. 28 Lakh in Online Job Fraud

The investigation began after a complaint was filed by a resident of Hyderabad in April, reporting a loss of Rs 28 lakh. The victim fell for promises of easy profits through “rate and review” tasks. GOSHEN COUNTY – After 29 years of service in Goshen County and for the county, long-standing Goshen County Emergency Management Director Shelly Kirchhefer is retiring – and the county is hosting a bon voyage coffee sendoff next week in her honor.

Kirchhefer, daughter of a former firefighter in the county, began her career in emergency management services 29 years ago, 1993, in Lingle and in May of 1999, she transferred to Goshen County Emergency Management where she has filled many roles, including working with U.S. Homeland Security.

Her retirement was announced earlier this summer and Kirchhefer has been credited with years of selfless service to all of Goshen County, from aiding in floods, to the county’s COVID-19 response and various training programs – which included…
