Chinese President Xi Jinping on Tuesday addressed the 23rd meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) via video conference from Beijing.

The following is the full text of the address:

Your Excellency Prime Minister Narendra Modi,

Distinguished Colleagues,

I wish to thank India for hosting the meeting of the Council of Heads of State as the current president of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).

At this meeting, we are going to welcome Iran as a full member and sign the memorandum of obligations on the membership of Belarus. This will manifest the vitality of our SCO family. I offer my congratulations to the two countries.

Natalie Barr has addressed a ‘controversy’ that led to her wrapping up Sunrise “quickly” on Wednesday morning.

The star receiving an “angry text” from her husband Drew for “buggering up” the family’s recycling system, leading Nat to make a hasty exit.
