In June 2021, Williams hosted her final episode of The Wendy Williams Show. The show ended its 13-season run a year later amid rumors and concern about Williams’ declining health. (Guest hosts had filled in for Williams for the final season.) Since then, the one-time DJ and daytime TV personality has largely been absent from the public eye.

Kelly Rowland’s flak addressed the former Destiny’s Child singer’s decision to walk off the set of the “Today” show by not acknowledging it at all.

“After 28 years of knowing her, Kelly Rowland remains one of the kindest, most amiable humans I have ever met and have had the blessing to represent,” Yvette Noel-Schure told “Entertainment Tonight” in a statement Tuesday.

Page Six broke the news last week that the “Survivor” singer left co-anchor Hoda Kotb in the lurch by leaving the morning show after her dressing room wasn’t “up to par.”

Hoda Kotb broke her silence amid reports Kelly Rowland walked off her co-hosting gig on Today over dressing room issues.

The 59-year-old host extended another invitation to the Destiny’s Child singer, 43, during Tuesday’s episode of Today with Hoda & Jenna, stating that she is always welcome back on set. 

‘I just wanna say this, I have great love and admiration for Kelly Rowland. I adore her. And I want her to come back on our show, and I want her to host again,’ she explained. 

‘She can share my dressing room — we’ll be in it together!’ the TV presenter quipped. 

Hoda’s longtime co-host Jenna Bush Hager, who had scheduled a day off last Thursday when Kelly was expected to step in, concurred, saying the star is ‘welcome anytime’ because ‘she’s the best.’

On Thursday, the daytime series was in a frenzy after Kelly Rowland reportedly walked off set just minutes ahead of the ten o’clock hour with Hoda Kotb. Since Hoda’s regular co-anchor Jenna Bush Hager was out, the Destiny’s Child star — who’d been a guest during the eight o’clock hour — was supposed to guest host the full show. But there was some big kerfuffle over dressing rooms, and she bailed. That caused the production team to scrabble and tap the British artist for the role at the very last minute!
