Engineers descend on Parts Town HQ for dedicated combi masterclass – Catering Insight

The FEA and Ceda combined forces yesterday to host a dedicated combi oven service engineer training day at Parts Town UK’s Distribution Centre and purpose-built training centre in Cannock.

The one-day course saw delegates schooled on product-specific diagnostics while also receiving fully interactive instruction from leading manufacturer partners.

Designed for both apprentices and experienced engineers alike, the course offered live, hands-on training with leading equipment from brands such as European Watercare, Fagor Professional, Falcon, Lainox, MKN, Retigo and Welbilt.

The spirit of community and sharing comes alive in Glastonbury this Christmas Day.

Glastonbury Town Council, in collaboration with dedicated volunteers, is hosting a festive Community Christmas Lunch. This heartwarming event will be held on 25th December 2023, from 1pm to 3.30pm at the town hall.

Innisfail RCMP hosting Penhold town hall

The Innisfail RCMP in collaboration with the Town of Penhold will be holding a town hall meeting Oct. 30 at 6:30 p.m., at the Penhold & District Library.

There will be presentations from the RCMP on priorities and crime stats, the community peace officer program, Penhold fire services, victim services and Citizens on Patrol.

County, town hosting forums focused on supporting unhoused people

Sessions for service providers, public taking place Oct. 19 at North Simcoe Sports and Recreation Centre

The County of Simcoe and the Town of Midland are hosting forums for service providers and residents with a focus on supporting people who are unhoused.

The forums will take place Oct. 19 at the North Simcoe Sports and Recreation Centre, 527 Len Self Blvd., Midland. The goal is “to foster and share ideas, tools, and resources with the purpose of uniting residents in building up a brighter future for unhoused individuals,” according to a news release.

The first forum is for local service providers. It will run from 1 to 4 p.m. Admission is free, but registration is required. Registration can be completed here.
