Local nonprofit dedicated to circus arts to host Soirée des Arts Special: ‘Sideshow’ at Trail Theater – WSVN 7News | Miami News, Weather, Sports

Nowadays, the circus is more than clowns just pouring out of a car. Some of the body-bending acts can blow you away.

Next week, Les Ailes du Désir Foundation, Miami’s only nonprofit dedicated to circus arts, is going to host their legendary soirée, and the performers are ready to give you a high-flying good time.

Feast your eyes in wonderment. LADD is throwing its third Soirée des Arts, called “Sideshow.”

Barky Pines, Indian Trail Host Tree Dedication At Downers Dog Park

On Saturday, Nov. 18, Barky Pines Animal Rescue & Sanctuary and the Indian Trail Improvement District held a ceremony celebrating the eighth anniversary of Downers Dog Park in The Acreage. The ceremony included a tree planting in memory of former ITID Supervisor Michelle Damone, who passed away from cancer earlier this year. Damone played an important role in opening the dog park. Ribbon cutting set for new hiking, biking trail in Borger

BORGER, Texas (KFDA) – A volunteer group is hosting a ribbon cutting for a new hiking and biking trail dedicated to a Borger resident who was an avid mountain biker.

The ribbon cutting is hosted by Six Pack Outdoors for the Chad Alan Foster Memorial Trail System at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday in Borger. A trail ride and hike will follow immediately after the ribbon cutting.

The trail is dedicated in memory of Foster with hopes to provide an outlet for outdoor recreation.

Six Pack Outdoors, the volunteer group, began clearing the trail system in January of 2021. The group focuses on mountain biking, trail building, maintenance, and preservation.

In early March 2023, Frank Phillips College Welding School delivered two new trail head arches for the trail head located near the city of Borger Skate…

The group is dedicated to the preservation and maintenance of open trails throughout Essex, Hamilton, Ipswich, Topsfield, Wenham and West Newbury for the purpose of passive recreation and for the benefit of the public.
