The Xiaomi 13T series is set to be introduced later this month – on September 26.

What we know officially 

Lei Jun, Founder and CEO of Xiaomi put up a post on X where he said the event would be held in Berlin at 5:30 PM IST and live-streamed on Mi.com.

He further shared that the series is “co-engineered with Leica”, implying some Leica filters, among other things, in the default camera.

The 13T series will comprise the 13T and 13T Pro. 

The latter is said to be a version of the China-exclusive Redmi K60 Ultra (or the Extreme Edition) with some differences.

13T and 13T Pro could come with a 6.67-inch 1.5K OLED display with up to 144Hz refresh rate, HDR 10+ support, punch-hole cutout for front cam and HDR10+.

Passengers of South Korea’s largest airline Korean Air will be required to step on weighing scales before boarding their flights.

Korean Air confirmed on its website that it would be “measuring the average weight of passengers along with their carry-on items for flight safety”.

No discrimination intended

The new measure is not a random one nor is it meant to insult or discriminate against passengers of different sizes.

“The data collated anonymously will be utilized for survey purposes and doesn’t mean overweight passengers will need to pay more”, informed an airline official.

Quick-commerce startup Zepto is now a quick-commerce unicorn, the first one in India this year. 

It has raised $200 million at a valuation of $1.4 billion, the first to turn a unicorn after an 11-month unicorn drought.

The funding round was led by the StepStone Group, a US asset management firm and included Goodwater Capital and some existing investors.
