Buena Vista University Hosting Event This Weekend for People to Share … – Storm Lake Radio

Buena Vista University’s BVTV Studios this weekend is hosting a day for people to share a special memory of the Cobblestone Ballroom.

The event will be held this Saturday, April 15th from 10am to noon in the BVTV television studio in the Lage Communications Center, which is next to the victory bell and flagpole on the BVU campus.

University Writing hosting WriteFest for graduate students

This fall, University Writing will host WriteFest to support graduate student writers. WriteFest is open to graduate students working on their thesis, dissertation, ePortfolio or piece for publication. Over four sessions, participants will explore habits and skills that support productivity and well-being during the completion of longer projects. They will also have dedicated time to write alongside peers in a supportive environment.

Graduate students can register to participate either in-person or virtually, and are expected to attend all four sessions. Sessions will be held on the following dates from 11 a.m.–1 p.m.: Sept.14, Sept. 28, Oct. 12 and Oct. 26. Registration closes Sept. 7.
