Plans to boost mobile coverage in one of Wales’ worst-served areas

The Shared Rural Network is set to improve 4G coverage in one Welsh county to address the urban-rural divide so that customers from all mobile networks benefit.

The demand for faster internet speeds and better connectivity shows no signs of slowing, with Carmarthenshire residents increasingly reliant on digital infrastructure for both work and everyday life.

Despite the requirement for mobile connectivity as a daily necessity, the urban-rural digital divide still poses a challenge locally, however there are plans in the pipeline for this to be addressed.

Proud TV presenter Ben Shephard has praised his wife in a glowing social media post that has been liked more than 20,000 times by friends and fans. Ben wrote an update on Instagram he tagged as #proudhusbandpost after wife Annie’s success.

The Tipping Point, Good Morning Britain and Ninja Warrior host shared a heartwarming picture as Annie picked up a top award.

How BBC newsreader Huw Edwards' career began in Wales – BBC News

Huw Edwards has been an integral part of Welsh media culture for decades.

He was born in Bridgend in 1961 and graduated from Cardiff University before beginning life as a BBC journalist in 1984.

Early roles included parliamentary correspondent for BBC Wales and presenting TV news bulletins.

While best-known for presenting BBC News at 10, he also fronted TV and radio programmes for Welsh audiences.

He shared hosting duties on a Sunday morning discussion programme on BBC Radio Cymru called Bore Sul and co-presented S4C’s religious programme, Dechrau Canu, Dechrau Canmol.

Previously, Edwards fronted the BBC’s coverage of elections to the Welsh Senedd.
