A year on from FIFA 2023 – what’s changed for women’s football?

Today marks one year since the 2023 Women’s FIFA World Cup Final, and the end of New Zealand and Australia’s shared hosting of the tournament.

Hosting FIFA, one of the biggest sporting events in the world, gave New Zealand new facilities, new development funds, and a global platform for their players.

Annalie Longo is the Women’s Development Manager for New Zealand Football talks to Emile Donovan about what has changed for the women’s game in New Zealand a year on from FIFA.

Here is what’s causing the technical challenges on Econet’s network

You’ve been asking and we now have a few answers. Econet has been facing some network challenges for a few days now.

This was the communication a couple of days ago:

The problem is yet to be fully resolved, although we did see some services restored.

No, Netflix Is Not Releasing Its Own VR Headset, but Here’s What’s Going On

Virtual and augmented reality tech is everywhere at CES 2024, with Netflix offering its own immersive experience at this year’s event. Though it may seem like the streaming service has plans to roll out its own branded VR headset, it’s actually an interactive exhibit for 3 Body Problem, a new sci-fi series slated for release this spring. The company dropped a short teaser — complete with logistical coordinates for a CES showroom in Las Vegas — urging audiences to learn more. 

Based on Liu Cixin’s book trilogy Remembrance of Earth’s Past, which includes the novel The Three-Body Problem, the upcoming show blends mystery, science and drama while hopping across timelines and locations.
