Wickliffe Public Library, 1713 Lincoln Road, is hosting a Local Author Visit at 7 p.m., Sept. 18.

Genevieve Gornichec, graduate of Wickliffe High School and author of the best sellers “The Witch’s Heart” and “The Weaver and the Witch Queen,” will speak about her books, the writing process, and all things Viking related, according to a news release.

Glambella Salon & Suites is hosting its annual Back to School Bash from 1 to 6:30 p.m. Aug. 18.

There will be free school supplies, a bounce house, games, food, vendors and more. There will be giveaway raffles for free hair styles and more for children and teens of all ages.
