Christian Women’s Connection will host a buffet luncheon and evening dessert bar featuring “A Conversation on Native Americans,” on Tuesday, Sept. 17, at Sterling Berean Church, 12527 County Road 37.

Thomas WhiteEagle enjoys bringing the past to life as a model and actor who wears period-correct Native American clothing in his appearances. Thomas will be sharing artifacts from the 1800s, as well as the history and culture of the plains tribes including Cheyenne, Lakota and Navajo. He has appeared in many movies and television series as the face of the Native American story!

Christian Women’s Connection of Lake County hosting ‘Ladies Luncheon and Fall Fashion Show’ – News-Herald

The Christian Women’s Connection of Lake County announced that a “Ladies Luncheon and Fall Fashion Show” will take place from 11:15 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sept. 17 at Pine Ridge Country Club, 30601 Ridge Road in Wickliffe.

The event will feature Carriage Trade Boutique on Chardon Square and owner Mariann Goodwin, and Stonecroft Speaker Shirley Davidson, according to a news release.

A year on from FIFA 2023 – what’s changed for women’s football?

Today marks one year since the 2023 Women’s FIFA World Cup Final, and the end of New Zealand and Australia’s shared hosting of the tournament.

Hosting FIFA, one of the biggest sporting events in the world, gave New Zealand new facilities, new development funds, and a global platform for their players.

Northeast Colorado Women’s Connection hosting lunch and program Aug. 20 – Sterling Journal-Advocate

Northeast Colorado Women’s Connection will host a buffet lunch and program, “The Anatomy of Summer,” Tuesday, Aug. 20, from noon to 2 p.m. at Sterling Berean Church, 12527 County Road 37.

“Anatomy of a Grand Design,” anatomy and physiology instruction Brandee Gillham will creatively explain how the human body points to a grand Designer. Plus, “Anatomy of a Nutritional Arsenal,” Certified Wellness Coach Melanie Soper will share the basics of how to build a natural immune-boosting emergency kit for your family.

Sobriety stories to be shared at fundraiser for women’s recovery organization

SANDESTIN, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) – Law enforcement and former lawmakers will be joining women recovering from addiction, as they share their success stories during a fundraising event Saturday.

“Rock the Lawn” will take place at the Market Shops in Sandestin from 4-7 p.m. on July 27, 2024.

Path of Grace is a local organization that helps women overcome addiction and maintain sober lives.

A few of the women finding success with the program have been featured in Newschannel 7′s Freedom Friday segment.
