Artist Ashley Longshore Welcomes FGI to SoHo Gallery for Women’s History Month Party

NEW YORK — Ashley Longshore’s SoHo gallery is covered with the artist’s colorful paintings and it was also filled with plenty of vibrant guests at the Fashion Group International celebration of Women’s History Month on Thursday night.

Longshore shared the hosting duties with Bergdorf Goodman’s Linda Fargo, Fern Mallis, Teri Agins and Veronica Webb. FGI’s president and chief executive officer Maryanne Grisz welcomed 100 people during the course of the night including Marylou Luther, Patricia Underwood, Amy Rosi, designer Andrew Yu, Sharon Graubard, Chris Lavish and jewelry designer Julie Lamb.

Liverpool personal trainer to host women’s wellness event dedicated to female health through the decades

A day dedicated to empowering women to take control of their bodies at every stage of life, from 20s through to post-menopause, is coming to Liverpool.

The Women’s Wellness Day has been created by Liverpool personal trainer Harriet McGuffie to help women gain a better understanding of the physical changes they’re likely to encounter as they get older.

The event, at Hope Street Hotel on Sunday November 12, will feature a wide range of experts covering every aspect of wellness from gynaecological and sexual health to skin and hair care.

Portmarnock expresses interest in hosting The Open Championship and Women’s Open in the upcoming seasons

The R&A has recently confirmed its chances to host The Open Championship or the Women’s Open at Portmarnock in in the near future. They hinted by saying that they are keenly investigating the possibility of holding the oldest golf major in the Republic of Ireland in the upcoming seasons.

The Dublin club also came up with a response and shared that they have contacted the organizing authority about hosting any of the two majors. They added that they are hopeful that the Irish government will respond with a formal approach.

One of the R&A spokespersons was quoted by the BBC as saying that they feel the Dublin golf club is one of the best links courses in the world, and they believe that a major could be hosted there.
