With summer well underway, it appears there’s no shortage of dinner parties planned, hosted and then documented on TikTok.
Many creators on the social media platform have been demonstrating their hosting prowess, a muscle they’ve likely been flexing especially over the year’s hottest months. A large number of these aesthetically pleasing dinner parties, per TikTok, are being curated by creators who’ve self-identified as being in their “hosting era.”
On July 10, Meghan Frederick Builder (@meganjfrederick) hosted an Italian-themed dinner party and asked, “am i in my hosting era?” Dinner table details included vines of tomatoes, embroidered placemats and a hand drawn menu.
