Over the past months, Slenergy has actively engaged in several high-impact campaigns across Europe, enhancing its brand visibility and showcasing its innovative solar energy solutions. In Germany, the company hosted the Citizen Salon event titled “iShare-Home Rayvolution” on December 8th.

This event, which took place in Leipzig, highlighted Slenergy’s commitment to supporting renewable energy communities in line with the European Commission’s initiative.

Patriots sign two defenders after hosting free agents on workouts – Boston Herald

The Patriots signed linebackers Kobe Jones and Christian McCarroll on Tuesday, the team announced.

Jones and McCarroll were among a group of free-agent defenders brought in for workouts Tuesday. The Patriots also hosted linebacker Max Roberts.

Jones, 26, most recently played for the CFL’s Hamilton Tiger-Cats. He’s played in two regular-season NFL games with the Packers and Panthers since going undrafted out of Mississippi State in 2021.

Golden Age Center now hosting educational series once a month – Canon City Daily Record

The Golden Age Center, (GAC), in Canon City has started an educational series from 10:30-11:30 a.m. on the third Thursday of each month at the center, located at 728 Main St., with a variety of topics of interest to seniors and the general public. The sessions are free and open to the community. To date, they have had presentations on Emergency Preparedness, an Overview of Ham Radio, and we have the author of the book, “The Girl Who Cried Wolf, Nancy Jensen, coming on Sept. 19 and historian and genealogy expert, Terri Meeks presenting “The Men Who Built the Bridge”, on Oct. 17.  They look forward to seeing you at future presentations and welcome suggestions of educational experiences you’d like to see in the future.

Wickliffe Public Library hosting author talk with Genevieve Gornichec – News-Herald

Wickliffe Public Library, 1713 Lincoln Road, is hosting a Local Author Visit at 7 p.m., Sept. 18.

Genevieve Gornichec, graduate of Wickliffe High School and author of the best sellers “The Witch’s Heart” and “The Weaver and the Witch Queen,” will speak about her books, the writing process, and all things Viking related, according to a news release.

Sitting Ducks attacks on the rise: domain names hijacked without intrusion

Domain names are getting hijacked undetected by Sitting Ducks attacks. The attack occurs without compromising the linked account, which the DNS provider should secure. The damage the attack causes can be extensive: cybercriminals are given the opportunity to spread malware and phishing under the domain name.

DNS providers are the target of Sitting Ducks attacks. Such attacks allow cybercriminals to hijack domain names and then abuse them. Abuse can take the form of malware, phishing campaigns, brand impersonation and data exfiltration. A Cobalt Strike would have already been illegally distributed in this way.
