But does Acronis also allow to restore to a different psychical disk (not to the original (damaged) disk) and continue using the OS and software without any issues as if it was restored to the same psychical disk and without kernel issues?

Probably some complicated methods of doing that manually, but I don’t know if I’d trust the restore process on those. What I ended up doing for cpanel servers is keep another dedi sitting on standby – so it was fully configured and ready to go, so in a disaster situation it could pull backups from AWS and bobs your uncle.
