Julie Chen Moonves Out Of ‘Big Brother’s Live Eviction Episode Due To Covid, Jerry O’Connell To Step In

Julie Chen Moonves will be out of Big Brother on Thursday night due to Covid, and Jerry O’Connell is stepping in.

The long-time CBS host shared in a statement on social media that she would not be hosting the eviction episode due on Thursday, September 12.

“Friday morning I woke up with a sore throat and went to see my good friend who is an ENT. That night he called to say I have Covid,” Chen Moonves said in a statement shared on Instagram. “Thankfully this is only the second time for me and it’s been very mild! No fever and just a sore throat.”

Satisfactory Hotfix 1.0.0.1 patch notes: Bug & crash fixes, UI improvements

Following its wildly successful 1.0 launch, Satisfactory has received a new hotfix to address issues players have been encountering in the game.

The indie factory building title has quickly become one of the biggest games on Steam after its September 10, 2024 release, which comes after five and a half years in early access. However, it hasn’t all been smooth sailing, with players reporting issues that include the game crashing on launch.

Now, developer Coffee Stain Studios have released the first post-1.0 hotfix to address some of the most pressing issues, including several crashes and an issue with dedicated servers.

Abbotsford author Grace Fox hosting book signing on Sept. 20

Abbotsford author Grace Fox has announced a book signing celebrating the release of her latest – Names of God: Living Unafraid.

The event occurs at House of James bookstore (2743 Emerson St.) on from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 20.

Fox has now penned 14 books and stated that she wants to invite the community to join her for a special evening filled with stories, live music, book signing and refreshments.

“Names of God: Living Unafraid is a devotional study that examines seven of God’s Hebrew names and how they relate to our lives today,” she said in a press release. “God has shown us what he’s like through these names.
