AI Detects 5687 Traffic Violations Every Hour In Bengaluru – Trak.in

From May to September 2024, Bengaluru saw an astonishing 80 lakh traffic violations captured by AI-based enforcement cameras. These cameras, installed at over 50 junctions, detected an average of 5,687 violations per hour, highlighting the city’s growing road safety concerns. The data was shared during the 25th SAFE Annual Convention, organized by the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM).

Top Violations and Peak Hours

The AI-based cameras recorded an average of 57,942 violations per day, with peak traffic hours between 8 am and 9 am registering the highest number of cases. United Way of Lake County’s Women United is hosting a “Communitywide Speaker Series” focusing on human trafficking in Northeast Ohio from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 10 at The Paradigm at Mentor High School.
