Latest Apple Watch Reported to Have Battery Draining Issues

Apple Watch users are facing a problem with their batteries draining too fast. This started after the latest software update, watchOS 10.1, which came out in October.

People with Apple Watch Series 9 and older models are not happy. They say their watch battery dies quickly after the update. On Reddit, a Series 9 owner said, “After the 10.1 update my battery only last like 2-3 hours at full charge.” Another person shared, “Mine charges to 100% and then dies within 2 hours.” A Series 8 user also had the same problem.

To Improve Privacy, Apple to Strip Tracking Parameters From Shared URLs

Apple is taking aim at a tool the ad industry uses to monitor internet users by cracking down on “tracking parameters” from web links. 

Users encounter tracking parameters on URLs from an ad campaign circulating on social media or over email. The URL can contain special text to help marketers confirm that users are clicking their links through a marketing campaign.

However, tracking parameters can also help the ad industry profile a user’s web-browsing activity by indicating which sites they used to view and click on a marketing campaign. That privacy risk is causing Apple to take action.

Squarespace: The Apple iPhone of web hosting has its limitations

Seventeen-year-old New York-based hosting firm Squarespace has been dubbed by one Wall Street stock analyst “the iPhone of hosting.” 

That description is apt in more ways than one. 

Like the iPhone, there is a slick quality to many elements of Squarespace that is user friendly, especially to people with limited technical acumen, such as picking pleasing templates for blogging that provide an immediately attractive visual feel.

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL), Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) – Parler Back Online With SkySilk’s Web Hosting

  • Parler, popular with right-wing conservatives, relaunched its social media platform on Monday with assurances over “sustainable, independent technology,” CNBC reports.
  • Web infrastructure company SkySilk CEO confirmed that it is hosting Parler, NPR reports. The company had deployed a “privacy-preserving process” with AI and human moderators and a “trolling filter” to counter the alleged violent content.
