The fate of the 2026 Commonwealth Games has been left in the lurch, with many wondering if it will be cancelled.

In April 2022, the Aussie state of Victoria volunteered to host the event. However, it recently backed out, citing rising costs as the reason.

The remaining Australian states and New Zealand have already revealed that they are not prepared to host the multisport event. And Downing Street has shared that, while it hoped a “viable solution” could be found for the event, the idea of the UK stepping in to host was “getting slightly ahead of ourselves”.

Euclid hosting Bike with Mayor event in collaboration with Bike Cleveland

Jul. 18—Euclid has announced plans for the next session in its Bike with the Mayor series, in collaboration with Bike Cleveland.

Starting at 10 a.m. July 22, riders will explore part of the Cuyahoga Greenways network with Euclid Mayor Kirsten Holzheimer Gail and other Bike Euclid members for a 9-mile ride.

Starting at Euclid City Hall, located at 585 E. 222nd St., riders will then travel down to Imani North via the Neighborhood connector, and then access the newly built Hero Park Train near Route 20.

Heading back north riders will then go east via the Industrial-Corridor where they will pass the Lincoln Electric wind turbine. They will then head toward Euclid’s Neighborhood Connector Trail and travel along a proposed biking path along East 250th Street to Yuko Park.

Arizona Brewery Flooded With Negative Reviews for Hosting Kari Lake Event

An Arizona brewery where Kari Lake held a rally on Tuesday has been flooded with negative reviews on Google and Yelp, with one critic insisting they will “never go back” because of the event.

Lake hosted the rally in Tucson to promote her book, Unafraid: Just Getting Started. She claimed the venue has been targeted with “death threats” and “review bombed,” which is when a company is given a string of critical reviews for reasons other than the quality of its service.

In November 2022, Lake was narrowly defeated in her bid to become governor of Arizona by Democrat Katie Hobbs. She is refusing to concede defeat, claiming the election was rigged against her, despite these allegations having been rejected multiple times in court.

Tbilisi hosting 2024 Asian Development Bank meeting will be “largest event ever organised in Georgia”

About 4,000 participants – including finance ministers, central bank governors, and government officials from Asian Development Bank member countries – will gather in the Georgian capital city of Tbilisi for the 57th Annual Meeting of the institution next year under the theme “Bridge to the Future”.

Georgian Finance Minister Lasha Khutsishvili told Agenda.ge the occasion would be the “largest event ever organised” in the country, surpassing all previous annual meetings of international financial institutions that have been hosted in Georgia.

The status of the Host Country was formally handed over to Georgia during the 56th ADB Annual Meeting in Incheon, South Korea in May, with Tbilisi set to host the next meeting in May 2024.
