Abbotsford Canucks hosting several events leading up to game three on Wednesday

Canucks giving away tickets, hosting street rallies ahead of first playoff home game at the AC

American Hockey League playoff action returns to the Abbotsford Centre next Wednesday (May 8), and the Abbotsford Canucks will be building the hype locally in the days leading up to game three.

The club will be giving away two pairs of tickets to game three at secret locations on Friday (May 3), Sunday (May 5) and Monday (May 6).

Fans are advised to check the Abbotsford Canucks social media channels for hints on what the locations are on the day of the giveaway.

Sherrod Library hosting dead week events


As the end of the semester quickly approaches, ETSU students gear up for finals during the dead week. To help students during this time, Sherrod Library is hosting stress-relief events.  

Outreach and Distance Library Coordinator Jonathan Wilson shared the week is one of his favorites because it allows the library to give appreciation back to the students. “It’s a high anxiety part of the year,” said Wilson, “It’s our job to make that a little bit less stressful for you.” 

The week began with graduation cap decorating and rock painting in the University Commons from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, April 22. Board games were set up from 12 to 4 p.m. and popcorn…
