BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A local preschool has opened their doors to kids in the community for free fun, food and hair braiding to help destress following the tornadoes.

Tragedy can spark a lot of stress for both adults and children.

So, The Foundry in Bowling Green is hosting a stress relief event Mondays through Thursdays until school starts back.

On Tuesday, Nov. 2, the Morgan County Partnership for Children & Families will be hosting a day dedicated to highlighting the importance of quality childcare. Morgan County’s 20 licensed childcare home providers and nine licensed childcare centers will participate in this county-wide campaign.

When parents or guardians drop their child or children off at childcare Tuesday morning, they will receive a sticker that says, “I’m at work today because my child is in quality childcare.”

Childcare providers will be wearing the color brown and will also read the beloved classic book, “Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?” by author Bill Martin, Jr. and illustrator Eric Carle. The Morgan County Partnership for Children & Families was able to purchase one book for every program to…
