Former Net Virtue staff launch web hosting services firm Click Host – Digital – Services

A number of former staff of Adelaide-based web hosting and domain name service provider Net Virtue has launched a new venture called Click Host.

Net Virtue in August was acquired by Nexigen Digital, the parent of hosting firm VentraIP, to boost the brand’s client base and number of services.

Two of its former employees, chief technical officer Dean Walsh and customer service Adrian Acosta founded Click Host following the acquisition. The company specialises in web hosting, managed WordPress hosting and reseller hosting for consumers ranging from personal bloggers to small and medium-sized businesses.

The recent GoDaddy breach that impacted more than 1.2 million users isn’t limited just to that web hosting company, but affected a whole slew of resellers.

A day after the breach occured, the company announced how tsoHost, Media Temple, 123Reg, Domain Factory, Heart Internet, and Host Europe were also all affected.

In October 2021, Alibaba unveiled a new all-in-one (AIO) PC as part of its family of cloud-based computer products. The Wuying AIO PC follows the original Wuying, a tiny thin client that could sit comfortably in the palm of your hand and act as a gateway to Alibaba’s formidable cloud computing infrastructure.

A spokesperson for Alibaba has now provided us with more details on the newly-launched AIO, which doubles as a business PC. Two versions will be offered; one with a 23.8-inch full HD display and a Pro version with a larger 27-inch touchscreen display that offers a 2,560 x 1,440 resolution.

Web Hosting Firm for Trump’s TruthSocial Says It Expects Platform to Hit 75 Million Users

  • RightForge, an internet infrastructure company, said it would host Trump’s social media network TruthSocial, according to a report by Axios.
  • The firm is preparing for TruthSocial to reach 75 million users, said CEO Martín Avila.
  • Avila has been an advocate for a “second internet” as an alternative to what he calls Big Tech’s “unchecked power.”
