Pete Davidson having a ‘hard week’ ahead of ‘SNL’ hosting return

It’s been a “hard week” for Pete Davidson, who is preparing to host “Saturday Night Live” for the first time since he left last year, sources told Page Six.

The 29-year-old comic — who was in rehab in late June to deal with PTSD and borderline personality disorder — will return to the show where he made his name Saturday night.

One friend told us that the attacks on Israel have made him think about his own family tragedy: “Pete’s dad was a victim in the terrorist attacks of 9/11, so it’s been a hard week for him.

“He’s thrown himself into the show, because, what else can you do?”

Red River Valley Habitat for Humanity hosting it’s first annual Hard Hat Breakfast – InForum

GRAND FORKS — The Red River Valley Habitat for Humanity wanted to implement an annual fundraiser for a while. They thought now was the best time and a breakfast was the best way to do it .

Red River Valley’s sector was inspired by the Habitat for Humanity in Alexandria, Minnesota, which has been doing a hard hat breakfast for over a decade.

Communications Director Elizabeth Wilde and Executive Director Marissa Sauceeda are expecting 50 to 100 people and hope to continue this every year.

The fundraiser will be this Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon at the Zion United Methodist Church in Grand Forks.

Breakfast will be served with the help of Hugo’s Marketplace and Dakota Don’s Artisan Waffles. It will cost $10 for ages 9 and up, $8 for kids ages 3 to 8, and…

‘Outreach can be hard work’: MLK event dedicated to carrying his legacy forward

Don’Aysia Hankins said Dr. King’s legacy is what inspired her to attend an event in Tacoma.

TACOMA, Wash. — Tacoma’s celebration of the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. at the Eastside Community Center had music and games. A station set up by Tacoma Boat Builders even taught kids how to make a land yacht.

But in the midst of all the fun, the main goal of the event was to carry Dr. King’s legacy forward.

Don’Aysia Hankins said Dr. King’s legacy is part of what inspired her to attend the event. She was also at the event to help her father cater it.

“Community outreach can be hard work,” she said.

Could 30TB hard disk drives be announced in 2022? We wouldn’t bet against it

SDK, one of the world’s biggest manufacturers of platters, the saucer-like components that store data inside hard disk drives, has announced that it has developed a new type of media that uses Microwave Assisted Switching-Microwave Assisted Magnetic Recording (MAS-MAMR) technology.

Developed in conjunction with Toshiba and TDK, the Japanese technology trio claim that MAS-MAMR can substantially increase HDD data storage capacity with “more than 30TB” the amount quoted in the company’s press release.
